As the country gets set to leave the EU tonight, we take a very brief look back at our some of our coverage over 2019 delving into what this might mean for UK science

17 Oct 2019 ... Figures released by the Royal Society indicate the damaging impact on UK science caused by the uncertainty surrounding Brexit.


9 Aug 2019 ... In a video livestreamed from his desk at Downing Street on Thursday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced plans to relax immigration rules for scientists in preparation for exiting the EU at the end of October.

16 Sep 2019 ... The new Government has been in place for only a few weeks now and in that time, we’ve already had a slew of new policy and spending proposals. Of particular interest to us was an announcement on immigration for science that made front-page news.
