Prestigious science photo competition returns

Entries are invited for the return of the Royal Society Publishing Photography Competition after a gap of several years caused by the Covid pandemic.
Entry is limited to scientists of graduate level or above, for categories includingย Astronomy, Behaviour, Earth Science and Climatology, Ecology and Environmental Science, and Micro-imaging.
Deadline for participating is 18 August this year and the entries will be judged by a panel drawn from research, scientific publishing and photography.
Winners in each of the categories will each receive ยฃ500, with the overall winning image receiving ยฃ1,000, plus a full waiver on article processed charges for their next open access publication in a Royal Society journal.
