Attending CHEMUK? Join us at our stand
The two day CHEMUK show at Birmingham NEC has plenty to interest lab professionals, not least an entire zone dedicated to the chemical laboratory.
Laboratory News will be there for both days at stand H76 in the Chemical Laboratory zone with our new issue focussed on manufacturing transition and the crossover between R&D and scaled up application.
Editor Brian Attwood, who will be attending with Sales Manager Louise White, said they hope to make visitors aware of the publication's relevance to their work, even if they are not working directly in a lab environment.
"Overall, it's about lab activity as an integral part of the chemicals and manufacturing landscape – not separate from it. Making it relevant to a broader cross-section of CHEMUK attendees than a traditional lab title might reach, particularly those involved in process development, scale-up, and technical decision-making," he said.
The duo will be available with information about the various platforms on offer for editorial and sales, including the Laboratory News website, print and digital magazines, newsletter and the supplier focussed Laboratory Talk website.
The latest magazine includes pioneering work by Space Forge, the impact of early-stage funding on future production pipelines, and the growing importance of skills – both through new training approaches such as VR and longer-term initiatives from bodies such as Institution of Chemical Engineers.
It also covers regulatory and operational pressures, including post-Brexit compliance for equipment and the challenges of designing and refurbishing energy-efficient, compliant lab spaces.
Free copies of the new edition are available on the stand and visitors can also sign up for free digital copies via QR code.
