Pay-as-you-go lab space is now available at The University of Southampton Science Park.
The Science Centre will offer flexible pay-as-you-go lab space to early stage technology companies with a need to house a small number of technical staff in their own self-contained facility.
Business support will be made available to early stage and growing business through initiatives such as the Catalyst Centre and SETsquare, and companies can access some of the UK’s leading scientific expertise at the University.
“At the Science Park we believe that SMEs are the key to successful and sustainable economic growth, and that establishing a secure support network for then is fundamental to the recovery of the economy,” said Peter Birkett, CEO of Southampton Science Park.
“The opening of the Science Centre enables us to provide a nurturing environment for small scientific business, where growth is encourages, not stifled by constraints like long term leases, or lack of flexibility.”
The Centre has a wide choice if lab space available, with facilities suitable for chemistry, biology and electronic applications.
