Lab Innovations exhibitors to share on-stand expertise

More than 4,000 attendees are expected to produce its largest-ever turnout for this year’s Lab Innovations Show at Birmingham NEC later this month.
Organisers predict the footfall for this year’s two-day show, running from 30-31 October will exceed last year’s record.
Some 200 suppliers are expected to attend, with registered exhibitors from all fields of laboratory science and related areas. The event also features the Lab Awards on its first day, co-hosted with Laboratory News.
As the show preparations entered their final fortnight, a selection of exhibitors discussed what expertise they hoped to bring to the show floor:
Sartorius, stand G80: The life science group focuses on innovative laboratory instruments and consumables for research and quality testing tailored for connectivity, compliance, and streamlined processes.
Product unveilings include the compact Arium Mini Extend Type 1 water system and the next-generation Sterisart Pumpforsterility testing, plus lab weighing and bioanalytical solutions for life science research and biopharma.
“We're highlighting new products in sterility testing, lab water, and lab weighing, offering attendees a unique opportunity to explore these cutting-edge solutions,” said Saviz Ehyai, manager of Field Sales LE North Europe.
Alpha Laboratories, stand C22: Lab sustainability is the theme with environmentally conscious pipette tip refills audited by My Green Lab and awarded ACT labelling for their sustainability benefits. Visitors can also sign up for the associated LaboraTree scheme that has now planted more than 3000 trees in UK woodlands.
Anton Paar, stand K100: Specialists in the measurement of density and concentration, the determination of dissolved carbon dioxide, and the fields of rheometry and viscometry, the Austrian-founded firm’s customers include most of the major beer and soft drink manufacturers worldwide, companies active in the food, chemicals, petroleum, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as leading academic groups.
Marketing manager Tertia Rimell said: “We are looking forward to speaking about our new technologies and how our existing laboratory instruments can provide solutions to the challenges that our customers face.”
Monmouth Scientific, stand F30: Part of the SDI Group Lab Equipment Division, Monmouth Scientific – a UK leader in clean air solutions – will share insights into the innovative technologies driving sustainability in laboratory environments. The firm is also delivering a presentation on modular cleanrooms at the Live Lab stage on Day 1 at 10:30 am.

The Knowlogy, stand C36: Management and quality assurance consultants, The Knowlogy will be showcasing its range of services, which support academic Institutions, the NHS, Not-for-Profits, bioTech startups, and pharmaceutical contract research laboratories as well as offering advice on GCP, GCLP, GLP, CSV, ISO standards and quality systems for research.

Verulam Scientific, stand J68: the company provides solutions to the pharmaceutical, environmental, life science, food, clinical and biotechnology markets, as well as insights into innovative instrumentation for academic and industrial labs.
Its centrepiece this year will be the Chronect XPR automated powder dosing system, supported by Mettler Toledo, with a robotic arm and PAL automation, allowing gravimetric and volumetric dosing of multiple solids and liquids in one automated platform.
