RC of Pathologists opens new £12M HQ
The Royal College of Pathologists has relocated its headquarters to a new £12 million office in Aldgate, London.
The charity’s new premises includes a conference centre, lecture theatre, library, meeting rooms, space for pathology exams and environmental features, such as a living roof.
Daniel Ross, Chief Executive of The Royal College of Pathologists, said: “The new and improved headquarters will enhance the learning and development of our doctors and scientists, helping us to fulfil our commitment to promoting excellence in our sector.”
The college oversees training of pathologists and scientists in 17 different specialties, including cellular pathology, haematology, clinical biochemistry and medical microbiology.
The Royal College of Pathologists leaves its previous premises at Carlton House Terrace, which it moved into 50 years ago.
The charity's new premises was funded by HSBC UK.
