Parasitoid wasp

Image of a parasitoid wasp inside an latrine fly.
The image shows what appeared to be a ‘latrine fly’ larva. But when it was lit from behind, it clearly contains a full-grown wasp. This is a ‘parasitoid’, which was laid as an egg on the fly grub and then ate the fly from the inside and used the skin as a cocoon.
