Win: A Royal Society Framed Art Print
4 Nov 2014 by Evoluted New Media
Ever wanted to hang a piece of science history on your wall? Now is your chance as the Royal Society have launched a new ‘print-on-demand’ service to enable you to purchase high quality fine art prints from its library and archives. The online shop offers a variety of bespoke products, from framed prints on fine art paper, to canvas prints and acrylic prisms. What’s more, we’ve teamed up with the Royal Society and Prodigi to give one lucky reader a chance to win a 30x40cm framed fine art print. So what will you choose? Robert Hooke’s flea, or a pencil drawing of Vesuvius erupting by Antionio Piaggio, or maybe this ‘red bird’, the ‘hicory tree’ and the ‘pig nut’ – a hand-coloured etching by Mark Catesby FRS, 1731 (Royal Society Print Shop reference RS.10487). Find the Royal Society Print Shop at http://prints.royalsociety.org. To be in with a chance of winning a fabulous print of your choice, just send your name, address and organisation/institution to phil.prime@laboratorynews.co.uk by 30th November 2014.
