Specialist pathways:
Chemical scientist: Focusing on intricate chemical investigations which may involve synthesising compounds, analysing substances to determine their composition and properties, or testing various materials and substances.
Biological scientist: Focusing on designing complex biological investigations, transforming research questions into experimental hypotheses and gathering data to identify relationships between dependent and independent variables. Their measurements can be conducted both in vivo and in vitro.
Programme details:
The programme is run over four years (the next intake is in September 2025) and has been designed so that learning is delivered flexibly utilising both remote learning and onsite sessions.
There are live online tutorials every two weeks, and two weeklong blocks of practical skills teaching per year at the Medway Campus in Kent.
